Got a GPA scale, weighting bonus or grade cutoff that does not match how your school actually grades? That is exactly what this form is for.
Curious who reads these messages? See the authors page.
The most useful messages we get are from students whose school does something different from the calculator's default, an A+ that counts as 4.3 instead of 4.0, a flat 1.0 weighting bonus for both honors and AP instead of the 0.5/1.0 split, or a 93 percent cutoff for an A instead of 90. Tell us the calculator you used, what your school's policy actually says (a handbook page or syllabus line is ideal), and what the calculator returned instead. We cannot rewrite a calculator to match every individual school, but a pattern across several reports is exactly the kind of signal that gets a default reconsidered.
If you run a calculator's own stated formula by hand and get a different number than the page shows, that is a bug, not a rounding quirk. Send us the exact inputs you used and the result you expected, and we will re-run it against the formula described on the editorial standards page the same day.
Expect a reply within one to two business days. We cannot look up your actual transcript or tell you what your registrar will report; that is a question for your school.
